No, the world in general needs more prototypes such as this. What we need is, first, more art, and then, papers describing a more serious approach.
If modulated right, an educated agent could 3d print a model of Konata-02, provided the necessary resources are present. This drawings are good and all, but they only give so little insight about how the actual mechanisms work. I bet the artist did not think too much about the inner working principles; not their fault, since it is such a complex system. What is valuable, though, is the specific proposition displayed here.
Notice, for example, how the term "Replication" is used here. My best bet for this system is that it is a consciousness simulator of some kind, which is then translated into a robotic body, which is what can be seen in the image. The pair of cables connected to the head are data transmitters, the others probably are fluid disposers, or perhaps current transmitters.
I do appreciate the fact that there are two holes near the pelvis that show what seems to be the inner mechanical skeleton inside. It reveals that this prototype is mostly mechanical, not biological, in nature, at least on the surface level. Also, the body is divided into pieces, which makes for an easier disassembling and fixing if required, which is very useful for a prototype, expected to crash and have faults.
Simply, the text, and the details outlined here, exactly those that make it slightly different from a human body, are what make this image so interesting, despite it being simply that and not going any further, not explaining how to get there.
(Also, what is the stasis tank for?)

Plottwist!! It's a complete (Cyborg) Body Prosthesis and only Konata's Brain is still real/natural. She was made into a Cyborg, so the artificial Body can nourish her Brain and keep it vital for hundreds of Years.
Why? Because we all know we need our daily Girl-Troll, named Konata. ;-) xD

Plottwist!! It's a complete (Cyborg) Body Prosthesis and only Konata's Brain is still real/natural. She was made into a Cyborg, so the artificial Body can nourish her Brain and keep it vital for hundreds of Years.
