Sia is schizophrenic and her "evil" personality decides that offering sex is the best way to get Rin to be her boyfriend. Unfortunately, this backfires and Rin rejects her but Sia gets her revenge later on by telling him a little fact about the Realm of the Gods and what he missed out on.

Also, the show was getting a little slow at this point so they threw in some fanservice.

Schizophrenia is characterized by emotional detachment and fucked up thought processes, such as auditory hallucinations and delusions; it is NOT multiple personality disorder (AKA Dissociative Identity Disorder). She's got a unique version of DID - instead of whatever hogwash reason like trauma, her younger twin sister was aborted to save Sia and their mom. Sia somehow absorbed her little sister's consciousness into her, and it acts much like an alter personality.

Because she was never given the same attention her sister got, Kikyou turned into a bit of a bitch. And somehow kinda slutty.
