No pokemon is useless, they all have a strategy,even if it means trowing dunsparce in a double battle as bait. I mention him because he can be totally useless. I play matches with random pokes, and my friend totally ignore my dunsparce, why ignore something that is spamming thunder waves?

Nidoking is awesome in first gen, it learns doublekick as Nidorino (with wich you pwn Brock) and has thunder resistance (with which you pwn Surge)!

@anon2, Dunsparce is actually pretty good in the NU tier. It's a paraflinching monster. And after even a single boost from pretty much anything just rips stuff to pieces.
