yes, i know what your thinking, and yeah, it is apparently an "in thing" for birthing mothers who actually give a rats ass about there child, personally tho, if i was the mother, id have severe paranoiya about the baby drowning in there.
oh yeah, it is indeed legally practiced all over the united states.
and where is the blood? this should not be perfectly clean like it is.

Uh, as a woman I'd have to say, there's no fucking way you'd get me to go through labor like that. I'd be worried for the baby drowning as you said. Not to mention it looks incredibly uncomfortable. You'd be swimming around in a pool of your own blood while a freakin' basketball sized head comes out of your vagina. Fun.

Dear gods, really? That child doesn't breath air for nine months in the amniotic fluid, so it coming right out and into water ISN'T a bad thing. Although once the baby is above the surface, they'll take their first breath. THEN they could drown.

Anon1, this picture is part of a set. The other pictures almost exactly like this one with slight variations have blood in them. Either the artist drew it in a specific order and this is the water washing away the blood some how, or he just decided to draw a no-blood version for the audience's sake.
