Why can't this happen? Why couldn't they give Nu a happy ending?
I always fall for a particular character. And if they're a powerful female with nothing but pure love for another, they almost always die at the end. But in Nu's case, it really hurt. More than any other time. She's so unfairly misunderstood, under the metallic, psychotic exterior people see her as having, she's just a cute little girl, scared of the world around her, lonely, wanting to be with her older brother, the only thing in the entire world that she can remember.
And yet she goes through so much and every new thing that happens to her makes her less and less likely to ever get a happy ending.
I'm sorry if this isn't really the place for this kind of comment, but I just really wanted to say it. It really hurts to see someone you love, who has done nothing wrong by choice, constantly suffer, even if they are fictional.
