Anon3, so close, but there was one detail you got mixed up. Japanese version, it's Harp Note for game and anime. In English, the game used Haro Note too, but the anime used Lyra Note.

Also, 'Transcode' was as it implies. A code. The EM Wave Change system got locked to prevent unauthorized wave changes, so the 'Transcode' was like your password to do so, really.
