the ending of the movies were half-assed because the people who made them felt that the heroes HAD to win, so they made that happen through ways that made even LESS sense than the entirety of GT!
broly was, still is, and always will be the strongest villain they faced, and a SSJ3 broly would be even more unbeatable.

BS. Get your facts straight.
Broly was nothing compared to Janemba. Near the end of the Bio-Broly movie, Goku says he will beat Broly because he's messing up Hell. And in the next movie, Goku says Janemba is the only one aside from Buu, who has forced him to use the SSJ3.
Basically, Goku can kick the shit out of Broly with nothing but the SSJ2.

Seeing as 2 out of 3 Broly's movie were made BEFORE SSJ3 was conceived to begin with, it's a moot point saying "Well Goku didn't have to go SSJ3 to fight him." He didn't because it didn't exist. May aswell say he didn't go SS to fight Raditz...
Regardless by the time Goku DID go SSJ3 in a fight like this Broly would of already beaten his face in. And theres the whole continuously climbing power level aswell... oh yeah and that in every fight it's always a team vs Broly so he doesn't spend the whole fight just killing one person he goes back and forth.
