Perhaps the armbinder is meant to *prevent* masturbation. If a student gets caught masturbating, they are fitted with an special armbinder uniform to wear at all times so that she can't masturbate again. The schoolis a very conservative religious school that does not tolerate masturbation. Any girl who gets caught even once must wear the armbinder for for a month. A second offense is binding for the rest of the school year. A third offense or girls caught in lesbian relationships must wear them until graduation day.
The armbinder is built to not restrict school-related functions. She can still write, as her hands are not enveloped by the device - she must bend her elbows by her side to write. Few girls have enough flexibility to actually touch themselves, while wearing it, though. The armbinder ends at her wrists also for another purpose - this way, a prefect can cuff her with leather handcuffs before removing the armbinder during her baths. Naturally, she is still not left alone during these baths; a prefect helps bathe her as well as watches her to prevent her from masturbating.
The school is, naturally, a private boarding school. So, there is no need to remove the armbinder during off hours. Usually, the girls start going crazy from the stress on their shoulders and the need for assistance to take care of themselves after a few days, but eventually they get used to the constant restriction. Some especially faithful girls choose to wear them voluntarily to avoid temptation. All bound students must share a special dorm with cameras installed to prevent them from cheating their restraints.

I drew this, so I can tell you that it's a design for a school uniform for a bondage school. The idea was the school was a relatively normal school that use punitive restraint as a means of punishment and control for it's students. It needed to fit a number of requirements stated below.
One, it looks like a normal uniform to average folks. Two, it has some sort of internal design that allows it to be converted into a restraint, thus eliminating the need for school disciplinarians to carry bondage gear on them. Three, identity is maintained through the use of an ID armband that goes around the neck like a collar, when the arms are tucked out of the way.
I also made a combination straitjacket and blazer to go with it.

I drew this, so I can tell you that it's a design for a school uniform for a bondage school. The idea was the school was a relatively normal school that use punitive restraint as a means of punishment and control for it's students. It needed to fit a number of requirements stated below.
One, it looks like a normal uniform to average folks. Two, it has some sort of internal design that allows it to be converted into a restraint, thus eliminating the need for school disciplinarians to carry bondage gear on them. Three, identity is maintained through the use of an ID armband that goes around the neck like a collar, when the arms are tucked out of the way.
I also made a combination straitjacket and blazer to go with it.

I never did anything in particular with the idea. I mocked up some gear and a few of the potential teachers that were based on my friend's OCs, but I ultimately dropped the idea due to apathy.
I referred to it as the "Suichiro Tanaka Academy for Wayward Girls" or S.T.A.W.G. for short. It was a private academy for delinquent girls who failed to graduate high school due to juvenile sentances. It was sort of a "last resort" step to try and reform them before they became hardened criminals. Thusly, the need for physical control over the student body. It secretly admitted students whose rich parents wanted them dealt with, or kept out of the public eye, for whatever reason.
Punishments and discipline were maintained via a system of demerits that resulted in restraint or public humiliation, each fitting the offensive behavior that triggered it. A stockade in the plaza, transparent plastic uniforms, inconveniencing restraints, etc.
The only narrative that I had planned was to follow the misadventures of a girl who had been shipped there by her conservative family who had found her practicing self-bondage and wanted her punished for her sinful ways. It would follow the obstacles she faced from her thugish peers as well as her own desire to purposely incur punishments for thrills. The picture above is the first design version of her.
