Well, it can be not confirmed, but lets hope at least for a DLC(damn DLCs), X with Phoenix Wright are the most not confirmed Capcom characters that I wanted to see... Oh well, thanks god for classic Rockman.

it's because Inafune loves Zero, to the point where he originally had Zero planned TO BE X. But of course he knew it wouldn't fly because he's not blue like Rock, so X was designed and Zero became the sidekick.

Who then exploded and became way more popular than X. All a part of the plan, really.
