I wonder how much it would take to convince the makers to add this as a bonus video

Made me think what Lucky Star would have been like featuring all Assassin's Creed characters.

Didn't the pizza originate in Italy so Ezio should have heard of it or at least eaten one

Nope, Ezio would not have been able to eat pizza.
Ezio lived in the late 1400s to early 1500s, pizza was discovered in Italy around 1800.

The word you were looking for was "Made/Invented", not "Discovered". Unless I missed the part of Italian history featuring the great Pizza Mines of Tuscany, or the wild Pizzas that roamed the countryside.

Well, no, they actually found the original recipe in a tomb left underneath Naples Cathedral by the ancient race.

Dears: Pizza was invented in the ancient Egypt by soldiers who put a loaf of bread and some goat cheese over their shields and left it under the scorching sun in order to melt the cheese a bit (putting the shield over fire would have damaged it)

Later, this recipe was stolen by italian soldiers (can't remember when or why) and modified by adding herbs and other ingredients.
