Giving Stocking a ghetto sista physique illustrates a lack of understanding regarding her character design. Also even though admittedly she does sometimes smile, it's rare, and at any rate she would never smile like this. Way too cocky looking. Even the stockings (the hallmark of the character no less) are botched, since the stripes are way too thick and sparse. This pic also looks like it's 'drawn' in adobe illustrator. If you want your shit to get owned by like 90% of the stuff on this site, making it in illustrator will go a long way towards doing just that. Not a bad program, but you have to be more skilled to do anything decent in it when compared to photoshop or painter.
To me this looks like just another of countless churned out pictures by artists who have never viewed the source material and are simply hopping on the bandwagon, expecting to get praise by virtue of this anime’s success. The quality of the show doesn’t translate over to you in any way just because you put the minimum possible effort into some half ass picture. In order to be respected for your work here your fan art (if that’s what you chose to do) should reflect a knowledge and appreciation for the anime/manga. You made the mistake of thinking you could just throw on bigger tits and ass and everyone would give you the thumbs up. What a lame gimmick.

Does it matter if it resembles her character at all? we have countless artist around the world that draw pictures of characters like this. The picture it's self was ment for appealling toward certain people, this is just one of countless example of pictures like this of characters. Beside the show isn't even that dam good it's just a parody of america and japanese culture.
