not really despite it very simple art style the anime may even have it's own ideas about AMURICAH it really has it's ways even though Japan passed a law stating NO MORRRE raunchy schtuff (I know they didn't technically say that I just being funny)it does use the christianity chareters angels and demons as opposing enemies even though if adult swim got the anime which might even be the next anime for adult swim.
If they get rid of BLACK LAGOON.
