The recoil of a Barrett .50BMG rifle isn't any worse than a 7.62x51mm rifle like the M14. Remember, it weighs about 10 kilos empty, and it has recoiling barrel with a massive muzzle-brake on it. That's enough to mitigate nearly 60% of the recoil.
She's in a lot more danger from that Desert Eagle there whacking her head when she shoots it.

She's in more danger of what the recoil will do to her body; just because the rifle is heavy, it doesn't mean it absorbs it all.

There is a reason why snipers using a rifle like that are limited to the number of rounds they can put down it per day. It destroys your body.
