I like this pairing, but like a certain anon above me, I don't see this happening either.

If Kubo Tite has his main character take this kind of decision, with any of the female cast, he risks alienating the sides of the fandom that prefer a different pairing. So he always leaves other pairings open.

Since when did Kubo let the fandom influence his story? If he did, Aizen would have been defeated ages ago
