its much surprising that during the seasons like the first ever made pokemon originals for like yellow blue red versions before newest ones kept coming out in games you could like only choose 1 out of 3 and your foe always picks you pokemons weakness type and the Tv series shows ash that much of the time own all starters you cant really catch them in game some unless you would decided to use action replay or a gameshark i wonder why they would do it that way so you really like could not comple a pokedex with out it quite fully just saying and sorry for a long message here

oh well thats a cheaters way my friends that did that for all his red blue and yellow owns everything and 99X masterballs, 99X rarecandys and duplicated his pokemon like cloning he had three mews and metwos early in game
