Are the translations bullshit or not? I can't speak a lick of Japanese, but there's something incredibly fishy about the names "Sam" and "Mac".
As I said, I don't speak a lick of Japanese, but as I recall, you can't form the name "Mac" (unless that's just a translated name) from Japanese syllables (letters).
