I'm pretty sure it's Faris, just her lesser-known design by Yoshitaka Amano, which in a way could be considered the "true" design, considering he designed the Final Fantasy characters up until Final Fantasy VII, which had designs by Tetsuya Nomura.

It is her true design. It's the design she's been shown with the most in official materials.

Alas fans prefer her purple haired one.
