Isaac just using himself as bait and when they come out he just pull out his good old line gun to pick them off one by one as they how this type of necromorph fight. first run away and hid then charge at you like Velociraptor from Jurassic Park oh wait you get a Achievements/Trophies called Clever Girls is kinda like reference to a quote by Jurassic Park's game warden before he meets his untimely demise at the hands of a Velociraptor in the first Jurassic Park film.

If he's got a Force Gun, he's all good, judging by the scenery he's at either Chapter 6 or 9, if 6, a Detonator could very well save him here, if 9, Force Gun all the way.

Actually, if I remember correctly, at this part of the game those damn stalkers WILL NOT FOLLOW YOU if you go back far enough to a certain part of that big room (which coincidentally would be a good area to defend yourself...) they just stay further in the room next to those damn containers where you can't get a good shot at them, unless you move forward.
