It's called cinching. It's a real practice (though taken to quite an extreme here) and just because you find it unpleasant, even disgusting, does not make it guro.

Unpleasant (or yes, even "disgusting") =/= guro.

Just because you don't like something doesn't make it gore-related. There are plenty of things I don't like, but I don't go around bitching about them and wrongly tagging them based on my opinion.
