Well if you keep up with the story hinata is the most powerful of the girls of naruto's age group only if she had the confidence. I'm most likely gonna get voted down for telling the truth but it had to be said.

I have kept up with the story, and Hinata is most definitely NOT the most powerful girl in any age group, not even remotely. She epic failed against pein, I haven't even seen her take anyone down. Fillers don't count.

Pein was the strongest member of Akatsuki besides Madara. What the hell do you expect Hinata to do against him? He beat down Sage Naruto, and imprisoned Kyuubi Naruto. He did BOTH OF THOSE by himself. Naruto's victory came from others weakening Pein over the course of time, followed by Pein using a shitton of chakra to destroy Konoha, followed by Naruto being saved by Hinata's defeat since he was freed by his rage, which allowed Kyuubi to take over. After that, his Chakra was replenished and Kyuubi suppressed by his dad's spirit. It took ALL THAT for Naruto to defeat Pein. No one at Chuunin level has a chance against Pein. Hinata, don't forget, is a Chuunin.
