I know for a fact that both Roman Catholicism and Buddhism has vows of poverty for which one to live their life by, so these nuns are probably used to washing their clothes by hand.

I added Buddhism in there because I'm still not sure just what Kanzaki is. She's like half Buddhist and half Catholic from what I've seen.

Buddhism is a spiritual path, not a religion, so being both Buddhist and Catholic actually makes sense...at least to a Buddhist it does. I hope that makes sense anon 636058
