Before i knew of the Manga i thought:
Brenan -> Sapphire
May -> Ruby

so i decided to do this.
god i should draw the pokemon more than the trainers cuz i draw pokemon HORRIBLE ;A;

Nintendo pulled a Green+Red with Ruby+Sapphire, notice how they got starters of their opposite colour.

Seems like they like to do that for characters that have deep relationships :Y Ruby is a very relevant person in Sapphire's life and vice-versa (not because the fact that they are a couple, but because of their childhood) and Red and Green... They are Red and Gree :U
