A kids show? BS! Have you not seen the manga? first time you see Misty/Kasumi, getting attacked by an enraged Gyarados and blood gushing out of her arm, pokemon killing each other as well? Kids show? Heck no, that's America kiddifying it. Just like they did to One Piece later. :/

You do realize that Japan has different standard for "kids shows" than America does, right? Just because there's blood, death, a little fanservice, etc. doesn't mean it's not for kids. Pokemon is aimed at an even younger audience than stuff like One Piece and Naruto, which are also for kids (albeit, older kids and teens).
