Has anyone noticed how Jecht and Terra are very similar, yet at the same time, very different?

Similarities: Has a summon form/ half-summon, parent, powerful, at some point used

Differences:
Terra: Born half-summon, magic based, timid but resolved, doesn't need to try to be a good mother, children are adopted, children love her.
Jecht: Made half-summon, physical based, resolved yet egotistical, tries to be a good father yet often fails, son is blood related, son hates his guts.

I always consider a matchup between these two to be the ultimate parental dispute.
