Well since all of those characters do exist in both game and P.A. it could very well be a picture of them all. Red, Leaf, Gold, Kris, etc...

Not all of them exist in the manga. Take another look -- two Reds. This is just artwork of all the player characters from the games, nothing more. And I like the choice of perspective, really.

From left to right : Red from first generation, Leaf, Red from third generation, Ethan, Lyra, Kris, May, Brendan, Dawn, Lucas, Hilbert and Hilda.

And, Anon2, you fail again, because Diamond is practically Lucas, who is there. =___=;
