I'm sorry, I didn't like this ending, n never understood people so instead of going around and trying to make new friends and actually develop a personality of his own he jumps on a dragon and we never see him again, I'm sorry but I'm having a very hard time feeling sorry for the guy.

Who is the say he didn't fly to another region to do just that? I mean, his name is there in Unova now, people know who he is and people are judgmental. For all we know, he could have flown to, say, Kanto and start learning from the very start. Who knows? But Unova is probably not the place to start, considering what Plasma (and by name, himself) did there already.
