Just because the pic is formatted as a gif is no reason to add the gif tag. The gif tag is reserved for animated gifs. No one searches for gif because they like the format(Note: there is no Jpeg tag for instance.)

It animates, make sure it's full sized, then wait because it's almost 8 megabytes. If all else fails then you could download it I guess.
