@Anon2: Uhm, no. Wheatley definately has a British accent. "Luv" is a Brit thing, and also if you listen to Adam Hills (an Aussie comedian), you will definately be able to tell the difference. Also, I'm pretty sure the wiki on Portal says he has a British accent too. Let's not even mention that the developers themselves said they wanted a BRITISH accent for him.

Wheatley's voice is done by Steven Merchant, a British comedian. Also, @Anon1, his accent isn't Cockney, it's a West Country accent (He's from Bristol)
