Fuck. I almost forgot about this. Yet another example of the incredible quality of this game, making the player feel bad about killing a lumbering, mindless brute that less than three seconds ago was ruining their shit. At least the Little Sisters seem to forget about them if they're rescued... which just makes it worse, now that I think about it.

Indeed. Although, I'm a little disturbed by how fast they can convert someone into a Big Daddy in Bioshock 2. Sinclaire was barely captured for maybe an hour (if that) but got turned into a Rumbler that was barely able to hold himself back for Delta.
