I wonder if that is a demon, or -seeing as the lower woman is partially animal (what species besides dinosaurs has backwards toes?)- maybe it is just an aerial spirit/human kind of crossover. (meaning not actually supernatural given the circumstances)

Somehow in my mind I see the transparent/angel-y one as a deceased lover or something, maybe the animalistic girl killed her by accident and now that said girl is in trouble (the chains), deceased lover is coming back for some moral support.
