I don't know, I kinda wish they would have let Halo stopped at 3. I mean the story was awesome how it ended. Can't we let Chief rest now?

It's unfortunate, really. I cannot see forcibly extending the series going well. It was meant to end with Halo 3 and Reach.

I agree.

I remember a podcast from Gameinformer where they mentioned they wanted a new enemy for the next Halo. But to me, Halo is about the war with The Covenant and Flood. Change that and you lose a lot of what makes Halo great.

People can say what they want, I think Halo 2 is one of my favorite game stories. 3 and Reach were fantastic as well.

I'm holding out hope though. If it turns out to be a let down, then I'll just look at the Bungie titles as the only canon, and ignore the others.

I don't know. Aren't there multiple Graveminds?

I thought Halo 3 saw the breaking of the covenant and a weakening of the Flood.

Though I admit, I like going back in time and playing other battles that aren't part of John's story. Like Reach and such. With a name like Halo 4, I can't imagine it won't have him.

Not to mention there are all kinds of tie in and spin off games. I would LOVE to know what the hell Johnson was up to between halo 1 & 2 or better yet the early life of Keys OR Better yet the conflict between the Rebels and the Federation, which required kidnapping 26 children and turning them into the Spartans then using them against humans.

THOSE would be some bad ass stories/games. They could have left Master Chief in the fridge and brought him back hundreds of years and xbox 1080 (or what ever) later.

75 children actually read Halo: Fall of Reach.
Also, The Flood is a lie... there are only Precursors.
