The note currently says "Welcome home, our national hero!" The flag however, does not mention "home" at all. Though they are russian soldiers in Russia, they are still away from home. From the looks of things, I'd say they are yet to start fighting. The mood is good, there is entertainment and no food shortage. But above all, no destruction yet. Fixing the note to "Our nation's hero - WELCOME!"
