Very sad news, indeed. I do find X's reaction to the scene hilariously uplifting, though, not to mention completely in-character.
And to add salt to those wounds, "Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3" has been announced. More details on the 12 new characters will be revealed at Comic-Con 2011.

Exactly how I feel. Sorry Megaman... Capcom has burned itself in their own stupidity and decided not to release a anticipated game of a fan favorite series.

C'mon guys capcom has better things to do with there time then to make a game staring the very character that put there company on the map...
Like make ultimate marvel vs. Super capcom 3: hyper fighting
Or super mega street fighter II turbo hd remix ultra battle
Or super street fighter IV arcade edition version 2012 (and that one is actualy a real thing)

Or desperately trying to ignore the PC market and hoping it goes away instead of re-releasing the ports of the X series games and making Mega Man 9 and 10 available on the PC.

Seriously Capcom, do that shit; TAKE MY MONEY. I WANT TO PLAY 9 AND 10, but I don't want to buy a Wii/PS3/360 just to play download titles.
