I fucking love One Piece and Hancock is so incredibly hot is not even funny.
The one thing I don't like though, is that just like any other mangaka, Oda probably won't be man enough to have his main character end up with a goddess like this after the epilogue comes. For some reason, its as if the japanese can only use women like this as a "tease" for the audience, but they never have the balls to have the main characters end up with them...which is a fucking shame.
They seriously need to get over this prudish mentality of theirs where the MC always ends up with either the "childhood friend", the "plain-looking girl who no one noticed" or simply leaving the ending undisclosed without confirming who he ended up with. Also, God forbid he ends up with a girl taller than him, right?
I honestly hope Oda lives up to his reputation and decides to be the one who breaks the rule by going against all predictions and having the young impulsive main character end up with the "high and mighty" amazonian beauty instead. It'd be a breath of fresh air worthy of a manga like this.

^^ I hope you realize that there's not going to be any romance involving the main cast. Oda said so himself and he's a man of his word.

To be fair, there doesn't need to be any romance during the story for the epilogue to show who ended up with who (since the story would technically be over). And considering its a GIVEN that in order to pass on the "will of D" Luffy needs to have a son, then there's good chances his future will be similar to Roger's, and he will, at some point after the main story is over, "do the deed" with some woman he fell in love with.
And given that case (which is what I think Anon3 was talking about) his point was about how mangakas normally have the main character end up with the most "obvious" girl around (which in this case, would be Nami) while other girls who were obviously interested in Luffy romantically since way before (like Hancock) will normally be ruled out as candidates because of cosmetical reasons (ie being taller than the main character, being older than him, being too powerful, etc).
On that case, I agree with anon3. The japanese need to get over the idea that people always want to see the main characters end up with the most "obvious choice", (which is normally the girl they spent the most time with during the adventure) only because they fit the stereotypical image of a couple (exactly the same age and the guy taller than the girl).

@Anon5: Anon3 here. I dare you to tell me where in my post did I mention OP would or should have any actual romance during the course of the story. I dare you.
My post clearly stated how this was information that was to be shown, or even just implied, after the story was over...by the epilogue that tells us what happened with everyone after the main storyline finished and several years went by.
Anon6 was apparently the only one who got my point, and the fact that as a "D", its a given that Luffy will eventually need to have a son. Im glad there was at least one person with a brain here.
