I spend a lot of time in the comments section, so I frequently see comments on images that some users perceive as "beautiful". It's just that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder, and what you think is beautiful may not be beautiful to me or to another user, but could be drop-dead gorgeous to some else further down the line.
There are actually quite a few people who don't come here for the explicit stuff (like me, I have it blacklisted, actually), and opt to look at worksafe pictures or comics, or things like renderings of fantasy landscapes instead.
It's all a matter of tastes, really.
