*Excuse me for being a geek but I used to work with these for a living.*

M61A1@6,000 rounds per minute (100 rounds per second)
Muzzle velocity=3,450 feet/second
Tracer every fourth round (For every round you see there are three rounds you don't see.) = 1,380 feet between tracers.

Rainbow Dash is less than 1/2 mile away, has a wingspan of over 1/2 mile and a 50,000 lb. jet is about to crash into her at full after burner. Oh, and her eyes are on fire. EJECT! EJECT!
