This is why every country should have Japanese as an option to learn. My high school only had spanish.... and only 3 students spoke it as a primary language...

Hiragana, not kanji. Otherwise, yes on all accounts.
My school had Spanish and French, so basically just Spanish (When would I ever use French?)
