This my well be the most creepy thing I've seen here, it just hints at it but I don't want to imagine the horror it suggests.

It's certainly a pre-suicide image.

Wow, what a painful and uncomfortable way to go.

Y'know miss, you could just slit your wrists or something. This is a tad excessive.

Fuck slitting your wrists. Japan has an extensive train network. Sure it's traumatic for the train driver and passengers, but it's quick and just think of the poor bastard who's going to find your shoes and open that door.

Maybe she is thinking of the person who's going to find her. If she has a good idea of who it will be, she might want to make it as traumatic for them as possible.

I imagine this wouldn't be so traumatic, since people usually don't look into an incinerator until it's done burning. In which case, there'd be little less than ashes, teeth and fillings left.

No, even the furnaces in crematorium leave large bone fragments. The fine powder you often see is the result of putting those ashes through a grinder.

There's also the significant question of what temperature an incinerator of this sort reaches. Crematoriums use ~2400 for 1.5-2 hours. But it's questionable whether or not this can reach that kind of temperature.

Also we don't know when this is. If someone finds it on at an odd time, sees shoes in front of it, and smells something very abnormal, they would likely open it.

Any human being will instinctively roll out of the furnace when it gets hot, there is no way to lock the doors from the inside.
