Not a fan of Redeemed!Sasuke. I prefer him to stay a psycho and die in the end.

Anybody else getting an Evangelion vibe from this pic?

I'm expecting everyone to start saying "congratulations" and clapping.

I'm sort of iffy about this. I don't like Sasuke, but it's pretty obvious he's gonna get redeemed. That being said, I really doubt he's gonna get an ending this happy. I mean, sure it's nice and fluffy, but it seems WAY too unrealistic at this point. I mean, how many times has he tried to kill Naruto and Sakura?

My guess is he'll be redeemed through a sacrificial death, or he'll become a wanderer. The odds of something like this happening are like .0001 %.

I'll never understand naruretards about that "killing Sasuke so the NaruSaku shipping should become 100% with his death" point.

Remember: It's just a manga wich tell a story of a world of lies (Madara being the manipulator), where one's friend is being misquided by this "mastermind"'s lies, and try to save him from this monster. Not whom will the main character ****. Just what do you think what will Sasuke do if he finds out that he's been fucked (Madara: "I didn't manipulated the Fox. Ah, not! It was just a lie! I'm not telling this to make sure you won't find out that I mixed the truth with some little lies, ah not...")?

And what do you think what will be the "others" (Sakura, Shikamaru ect), if they will find out that it was actualy the "misquided" Konoha (nobody found out it was Madara who attack the village with the Fox) who killed Sasuke's parents? Both sides are dirty, not just the one.

Won't change anything if Sasuke would find out? Right, why would he, he just would find out that Madara fucked him up, made him a criminal, turned him againts his friends and made him to throw more mud on the clan's name. He wouldn't be angry enough to try to kill Madara (wich with a lucky succes would make him a national hero who killed the number one enemy of the wolrd).

Sasuke wasn't manipulated? Still, it's funny that everything he did was the part of Madara plan, other question that he failed (failed to capture Killer Bee, failed to even exhaust at least one Kage to make Madara able to capture as hostage and failed to kill Karin who then gave vital informations to Konoha about the Akatsuki, Kabuto and Sasuke to Madara's frustration).

Sad, that nobody still understand the truth meaning of chapter 457-458-459-469-470-474-484-485 and 486. It was about to show that Naruto REALY want to save Sasuke because he REALY consider him as his friend, and NOT because to confess love with it to Sakura or some promise.

And why wouldn't forgive to Sasuke, if the others would fingd out? Specialy Tsunade? Don't forget, this is a shonen manga, not a seinen like Basilisk. Gaara killed even more inocents even before the start of Naruto, yet everybody forgave him. While Sasuke killed whom? 10-15 Samurais whose were stupid to attack him even when he warned them and a psychopath, power-hungry old man Danzo, who even killed more people (sacrificing an entire village just to become Hokage, make alliances with enemy villages to interrupt war negotations between the Leaf, Rain, Sand and Rock by Yahiko, then side up with Orochimaru, who for exchange the help made him a "Sharingarm")? Oh, and killed Deidara and Orochimaru, two incredible dangerous criminals who also killed more people than Sasuke.

So, they will forgive him, since it's a shonen, not seinen. And just for a strange view: weren't Sakura and Kakashi tried to kill Sasuke by their own hands for the same "misunderstanding" (Madara's lies). They did.

Still, the majority of "kill Sasuke" manics are shipping fans, and 95% of them are NaruSaku, and I think that's explain everything.

@853422: Okay, I think you misread most of my comment, so I'll respond to yours. I'll try to keep it brief, since I'm sure noone wants to see these dissertations all over the page.

Sasuke was only partially manipulated. Madara told the truth about the attempted Uchiha coup d'etat, and Danzou, the counselors', and Itachi's role in destroying the clan. This was confirmed by Itachi in a recent chapter. The ONLY thing Madara lied about was his (and perhaps the entire Uchiha clan's) role in the Kyuubi attack. He lied about that to ensure Sasuke would trust him, and Sasuke finding out the truth about that won't change what happened to his clan, and his desire to 'purge' his clan by destroying Konoha.

As for those chapters you listed, I both agree and disagree with you. Naruto really wants to save Sasuke for his own bond with him, but his promise to Sakura most certainly plays a role in it. We see evidence of it during the Iron Country Arc (www.mangareader.net/93-18115-12/naruto/chapter-457.html ). That proves that he still acknowledges that promise. It's not that his promise to Sakura is gone, it's that he places his team's happiness before his own.

It's true that Sasuke hasn't killed any important protagonists, and that will probably play a role in his redemption. But comparing him to Gaara is very poor reasoning. Gaara started with no bonds, and built them from the ground up. Sasuke was the exact opposite, he cast aside his bonds and then became twisted. In shounen manga/anime, there's a very big difference between villains who become heroes, and heroes who become villains. The latter sometime make the switch back, but everything's not as and cut and dry as the former.

As for your last sentence, provide proof of this or just be quiet. The majority of Sasuke haters I've spoken with don't give a damn about shipping (believe or not, most Naruto fans hate the shipping, it's just the ones who do that never shut up). The same goes for your assertion that the majority of those shippers ship N/S.

Chouji has the greatest view ever and he's busy with his chips.
Geez, man. Priorities. I'm overweight too but I know what's more important.

I agree with BoomWinning, the whole 'Sasuke's being used' argument is just facepalm-worthy. I have to ask, do some of the more rabid Sasuke lovers even follow the manga?

First it was Itachi, then it was Orochimaru, and now Madara. Poor Sasuke's just a victim. There's ALWAYS an excuse for everything he does and somehow he bares no responsibility for any of it. While they share blame for Sasuke being what he is, Sasuke's the one that made the decision to take the path he has and he chose to give into that hatred. Everything Sasuke's done, was his OWN choice.

I have no doubt he's gonna get redeemed somehow, but apparently some Sasuke fanboys really don't get what's going on.

You know what I think... I think you guys put more thought and 'realism' into it than Kishi does.

At this point Naruto's POV is God's Will and everyone who disagrees with him will be converted. Naruto wants Sasuke back more than anything else in the world and he will without a doubt get what he wants in the end or else he'll die trying.

I hate Sasuke with a burning passion and I think he deserves to be tortured/killed but I know it's not going to happen. He'll be BFF's with Naruto and everyone else will be brainwashed to accept him. Naruto has already brainwashed so many to see his side.

Kishi can't even kill off Kakashi, Karin, Hinata, Chouji, or random nobodies in the village... he loves happy cheesy endings. This manga won't end any other way than Naruto getting his friend back with him and everyone happy about it.

Even Itachi gives Naruto his hopes to save Sasuke without killing him.

Just accept that this is 'that' kind of manga and you'll save yourself the sorrow when something like this fanart actually happens in the manga.

^@853697 True and that's the problem.

The manga has an identity crisis, it wants to be serious and lighthearted at the same time.
