@lixiaofossil: Makoto doesn't really love Kotonoha, he just wants her body. That was made pretty obvious in the anime as well as the manga.

The anime and manga are garbage. The game is where it's at. In some paths you can take in the game, Makoto genuinely loves Kotonoha. Or he loves Sekai for some dumb reason. Or maybe he can't decide or wants both.
