ive always thought about something like this ever since i saw the movie alien. i imagine its a sexual paradise. the pod provides you with all necessary nutrients needed to survive, while at the same time feeding on your waste/sex juices. thus, the relationship is mutually benificial; symbiotic.
however, to keep you from going insane due to boredom or simply wanting to leave, massive sexual stimulation and hallucinagines/tranquilizers are constantly at work.
