Lol they're trying to keep him as close to a silent protagonist as possible. He had minimal lines that consisted of 2-3 word sentences...if anyone noticed.

Actually, Everyday Young Life Junes was how it was in the original Japanese release of the game. They just changed it to make more sense in the English game release. They'll probably do the same when they dub the anime.
