Actually, the way I understand it, Yoshimitsu from 2-4 is the same person, and the ancestor of the Yoshimitsu who appears in Tekken.

Unless he was somehow killed by this new Yoshimitsu, or if the one in 5 is his son or something, I'd assume he's still the same as well.

The Yoshimitsu in SCV is Yoshimitsu the Second who has claimed the title as well as the sword.

SCV definitiely has a new Yoshimitsu. He even introduces himself before battles as "Yoshimitsu the second".
