^ Not military but "International Radiotelephony Spelling Alphabet" developed by NATO after WWII.

Back then it would have been "Gustav Anton Dora Xanthippe" in German. The older "David" was replaced with "Dora" by the Nazis because David is a Jewish name. (Of course I'm not accusing Miku of being a Nazi.)
