well, it was said in black and white that the legendary brothers originaly used one dragon type pokemon, but when their opinions finally split, the dragon did not know what to do, so he split himself, thus making rashiram and zekrom.

The recent pictures of Kyurem along with the movie makes me think that Kyurem is really the corpse of the fuse of Reshiram and Zekrom. The fuse must be a badass considering how Reshiram and Zekrom are strong individually.

actually, lets see here. if the two dragons of unova were once one, then i doubt the pre-division form was Kyurem. i think it was another pokemon entirely forgotten to the ages.

so, when tht pokemon split, it didnt actually split in two, it split in three. Reshiram and Zekrom embody the two sides the brothers took, but Kyurem was the result of the dragon pokemon's willpower to hold onto the hope of reuniting the two 'sides' again.

ie, Kyurem, Zekrom, and reshiram together make the legendary dragon the legendary brothers had before they parted ways. after all, yin and yang alone would push each other away, so what keeps them in balance? the 'void' between them. a uniting factor, a gray area. in this case, Kyurem.
