Daeva, not Devans (except maybe in Korea, idk) but more importantly they're not really identical to Castanics. The males, for instance, among Daeva are very bestial-looking.

Thea Daeva are kinda like corrupted castanics, the males are so beastly cause they have lost all control for the dark powers they gained by giving in to the corruption. The females stay more easy on the eye so they can trap travelers more easier.

Oddly enough (Koreans don't like fluff material I guess), the game never actually explains the difference between Devans and Castanics other than 'they're different'.
