Naruto's childhood makes harry potter's look like a episode of leave it to beaver. parents who threw his life away for the sake of their village, godparents who abandonded him before he was a day old, a teacher that taught him nothing, two 'freinds' that either beat him bloody, or ridiculed him, or tried to murder him on a regular basis

at least harry had a few people he could count on. with the exception of iruka, naruto had no one. Sarutobi never really cared about him. all the old monkey ever really saw in naruto was the 'legacy' of the fourth. all the 'friends' he made only hung out with him because their parents made them. every skill he has was pretty much self taught.

^- False info. Naruto was entrusted with the nine tails, parents threw away their life for him and the village, friends hung around him because they chose two, I.e Hinata had a crush on him, Jiraiya taught him well as well as kakashi, as for Jiraiya he had to free for his research as well as to do his task as a Konoha ninja, the third kept an eye on him not to mention send money for him to live off of. Get your facts straight.

Jiraiya was supposed to take care of him, Naruto didn't meet him until he was twelve. Minato and Kushina may have 'entrusted' the kyuubi to naruto, but they left him with nothing, and no one to take care of him. Kakashi had prior knowledge of the shadow clone technique and it's training secret, and he never said a word. The only reason team seven was allowed into the chunin exams was sasuke.

Tsunade knew who he was and still was tempted to use him as a sacrifice to bring back her brother. Sai was planted on team 7 to spy for danzo, itachi tried to kill him quite a few times, sasuke tried to kill him twice before the time skip, sakura assultes him constantly, Kakashi ignored his training for sasuke, Jiraiya only trained him because of a promise he made to minato not because of any lingering affection for the boy. Minato and Kushina ruined his life by making him the jinchuriki. (And yes I know they had no choice and they did it to protect him from Tobito, but as the saying goes. The road to hell is paved with good intentions)
