Most people don't know about/don't bother with the difference between a wyvern and a dragon.
I do agree, though. This looks like a wyvern.

by definition it IS A wyvern, but technically a wyvern is a kind of dragon anyway. the person tagging might have wanted to group it in with the larger batch; while there's a wyvern tag on here, the term is pretty loose--i saw some dinosaur pics in there.

If you're referring to the monsters from MH, then you are sadly mistaken. Though bearing a rough resemblance to dinosaurs, almost all creatures in the franchise are descended from dragons or wyverns.
