You don't need to actively break a bound woman. The most effective methods are passive ones; just leave her alone except for feedings (and don't communicate with her during those); and keep her in restraints, and she'll end up broken pretty fast.
Freedom of movement is one of the most basic parts of being human, and social contact is a necessity as well. Take movement away, and soon she realizes how helpless she is; she cannot even move her own body the way she wants to. Without social contact, she can no distractions, and nothing to do except think about her life and about her own powerlessness.

^ One of the last attempt in braking her broke her leg, I suppose.
And Anon2 is right. No reason to try and outdo Itachi's Tsukuyomi with the pejorative of adding pokemon hellish themes to the mix when a little mind game can do everything for you.
