Me too anon 3. Maybe it's something like Die Hard. She goes to some private school with a bunch of rich kids and the school gets taken over by terrorists to demand ransom and she decides to fight back while yelling the Japanese equivalent of Yippe Kay Yay occasionally

Well, basically she is rappeling down to large glass panel, shooting it on the approach to not crush her legs breaking it. You could see the rope in her left hand and fractures on the glass if watch closely.
I'd say she is quite in control of all she is doing.
